After 2 days of racketlon action in Turkey, we are left with 2 players in the Men’s Singles and 2 in the Women’s Singles. The Men’s final will be between the top two players in the world! Whereas the Women’s final group stage match (effectively a final) will be between Women’s Doubles champions, Anna-Klara Ahlmer and Myriam Enmer.
Men’s Singles
It’s been smooth sailing for World Number 1, Leon Griffiths, so far. After a first round bye, the Brit defeated Anthony Duthuillé and then his doubles partner, Bastian Böhm, without even needing his tennis racquet.
On the contrary, World Number 2, Sylvain Ternon, will be battle-hardened. Also receiving a first round bye, the Frenchman was pushed deep into tennis by Dane Malte Thyregod. Third seed Nicolas Lenggenhager also challenged Ternon, but his tennis once again prevailed.
The final is scheduled for 2:00 PM Turkey time.

Women’s Singles
Despite sitting at the bottom of the 5 player box, Adeline Kilchenmann from Switzerland is the only woman to push Anna-Klara Ahlmer and Myriam Enmer to tennis.
Ahlmer and Enmer remain undefeated and only have each other to play. Ahlmer holds a 7-3 head to head record against Enmer, but the last three meetings have gone the way of the Frenchwoman, including matches for the World Teams Championships.
The final is scheduled for 11:00 AM Turkey time.
Kirsten I. Kaptein is undefeated at table tennis this weekend and has the chance to win the bronze when she plays Adeline Kilchenmann. If Kilchenmann wins, it’ll force a Gummiarm playoff between Kaptein, Kilchenmann and Katherine Serrano.
