FIR Government

The FIR – Federation of International Racketlon is governed by the FIR COUNCIL which is elected by the FIR GENERAL MEETING.

FIR General Meeting

The General Assembly takes place at least once per year. All country members can send representatives to participate and vote on their behalf.

FIR Member Countries

The FIR presently consists of 36 member countries on five continents, see Fir member Countries.

FIR Council

The FIR Council is elected by the FIR General Meeting for a period of 3 years. The present FIR Council is in office from 15.03.2025.

FIR Council Members

On 02.02.2019 FIR Founding Assembly unanimously elected Duncan Stahl to FIR Executive President, re-electing him on 27.08.2022, together with his proposed Council team, from 2022 to 2025. Duncan got selected for 3 more years on March 15, 2025. The Vice-President is elected for a different term of office to the President to help ensure continuity.

FIR Auditors

Two auditors are elected by the Annual General Meeting with the task to permanently check and audit the Finances of FIR. The present FIR Auditors are in office from 02.02.2019, were re-elected on 27.08.2022 for another 3-year term and again on 15.03.2025 for another 3-year term,

FIR Board of Arbitration

To sort out all conflicts and disputes inside and among members of the FIR the General Meeting has installed a Board of Arbitration consisting of three persons. The Board decides with a majority of votes. and its decisions are final within the FIR. The current Board of Arbitration were elected on 15.03.2025 for a 3-year term.
