IWT German Open Preview

The IWT German Open is back this weekend and it’s another strong field with some players getting their last match play in before the World Championships.

Fresh off winning the SWT Inventist Racketlon Open Sylvain Ternon is the top seed for this event. He plays Thorsten Lentfer in the first round to either play Léon Mamié or Tom Branke in the semi-finals. On the bottom half of the draw, Bastian Böhm faces IWT French Open Champion Koen Hageraats in his first match, whilst Joerg Kanonenberg takes on Julien Castel.

Pauline Cavé is looking to add another title to her collection. The French player has been playing really well this season and looks like a strong favourite for the IWT German Open. The women play in a round robin, she has competition of Kirsten Kaptein, Adeline Kilchenmann and Alina Reissenauer.
