Provisional 2024 FIR Racketlon World Tour Calendar

We’re still full swing in the 2023 season, with some exciting tournaments coming up like the SWT Austrian Open this weekend, along with three more tournaments in Czech, India and Spain. This doesn’t stop us from looking ahead for the 2024 season with some new additions to the calendar, as well as returning fan favourites. FIR President Duncan Stahl is very excited about the upcoming season and has said the following:

“Many thanks to the World Tour Committee and all our tournament directors and national federations across the world for helping us pull together this very exciting first announcement for the World Tour 2024.

One of our key priorities has been to grow and develop Racketlon to countries outside of Europe, so it is so satisfying to see that work beginning to pay off: with Hong Kong and India bringing multiple teams to the world championships this year, alongside the USA, and now we are able to announce 4 tournaments outside of Europe in 2024.

The Hong Kong Challenger and Australian Open (tbc) in Feb see the world tour coming to those countries for the very first time…and we’re delighted to announce a brand new showpiece SWT tournament at the incredible Willingdon Sports Club in Mumbai…the Czech Open in Prague is also upgraded to a new SWT tournament.

The World Doubles come to Holbaek in Denmark which has some of the very best playing conditions on the world tour and the teams and singles return to our fantastic new world championships home at Victoria in Rotterdam.

We hope to announce more tournaments for 2024 soon in our 2nd official announcement.

Lastly, thank you to all the players who continue to support our sport and our tournaments across the world – our stats for entries on the world tour this year are hugely encouraging which we hope to continue into next year.”
