The entries for the Bombay Gymkhana International Racketlon Open have gone live as you can now enter this exciting event. The tournament will be held from December 1 – 3 in Mumbai, India. The Bombay Gymkhana club is very excited to welcome Racketlon to the city, as Vice president Naheed Divecha said:
“We introduce ourselves as one of India’s leading and premier sports and recreation clubs. We were founded in 1875 and have a very rich sporting heritage of being one of India’s oldest club, and we have been host to a number of iconic sporting events over the years and we wish to add one more to this list with the Bombay Gymkhana International Racketlon Open 2023. This year we are celebrating 148 years and we currently have about 5500 members, cutting across a cross section of age groups ranging from 1 ½ years to 80 years plus. In keeping with our vision of fostering a heritage where sports, sportsmanship and friendships evolve in high quality facilities, we look forward to hosting all players at our Gymkhana”.
The tournament schedule will be as follows:
Friday 1st Dec, 08.00: Earliest possible start for all doubles classes
Friday 1st Dec, 16.00: Earliest possible start for all open singles categories
Sat 2nd Dec, 08.00: Earliest possible start for all age group singles categories
Sun 3rd Dec, 16.30: All categories finished / Prize Giving Ceremony
