Polish Open, Romanian Open & Czech Open Player Entry Live

We are delighted to announce that entry has opened for the Polish Open Challenger, Romanian Open Challenger and IWT Czech Open.

The Polish Open Challenger is the first tournament after the World Championships. This maiden tournament will take place from September 23 to 25 in Warsaw, Poland. This is the first time that this tournament has been held.

The Romanian Open Challenger returns after making its debut last year. It will be held in Bucharest from October 15 to 16.

The IWT Czech Open is the penultimate tournament on the Racketlon World Tour calendar. It will take place from November 11 to 13 and returns to the calendar after superbly hosting the World Doubles Championships in 2021.

That now leaves us with four tournaments currently open for entry after the World Championships, with the IWT La Santa Open already available for players to enter. A reminder that there is a 40% accommodation discount if you book before July 31.

Polish Open Challenger

One of our new tournaments in 2022 is the Polish Open Challenger. The tournament is being hosted at Strefa Ruchu Książenice by Tournament Director Dariusz Walczak and we’re delighted to see international racketlon returning to a growing area for the sport.

Full tournament information about this brand new event will be released soon. Still, we’re pleased to already confirm that there will definitely be a shuttle bus from the tournament hotel to the venue in the mornings, a Players’ Party on Saturday evening, tournament t-shirts available and even a sushi restaurant at the sports venue.

Romanian Open Challenger

After organising a very successful Romanian Open Challenger in 2021, Radu Ionescu has brought the tournament back for a second outing at Sport Club Racketlon Romania. Anna-Klara Ahlmer won the Women’s Singles title in November last year. Florian Harca made his breakthrough, winning the first Men’s Singles title in Bucharest.

Full tournament information about this event will be released soon and we hope to see more players come and try out this tournament as we look to establish it as a regular event on the Racketlon World Tour.

IWT Czech Open

A regular tournament on the Racketlon World Tour for well over a decade, the IWT Czech Open returns. This year, it is the penultimate event of the 2022 season. Last year, Svatopluk Rejthar and his fantastic organising team ran both the IWT Czech Open and a fantastic World Doubles Championships.

HECTOR Sports centre will see a full IWT Czech Open with singles and doubles action this year. This event is always one of the most popular of the year. We hope to see a whole host of players from around the world return to Prague for what is a consistently brilliant event.

Complete information bout the IWT Czech Open is available here. You can enter the IWT Czech Open here.

The Polish Open Challenger, Romanian Open Challenger and IWT Czech Open are the three latest tournaments to open. You also have a few days left to enter the IWT German Open, the final warm-up tournament before the FIR Racketlon World Championships. The World Championships are still open for entry, as is the season-closing IWT La Santa Open in December.
