Racketlon’s weekly quiz returns for a third week of action tonight, Wednesday, April 8th!
James Pope won the second edition last week with Joerg Kanonenberg winning the first week. Kanonenberg and Patrick Burgi are tied at the top of the overall standings, but six other players are all within just a handful of points of the lead.
Duncan Stahl is returning as quizmaster for the second time, and will be bringing a racketlon round, sport round, and general round live on Facebook.
The format is remaining the same as last week. That means that you will have only around 10 minutes to send in your answer sheets. That means that you HAVE to watch the Facebook Livestream if you want to take part, as that is the only place that you’ll be able to hear the questions.
This week, the answers need to be sent to duncan.stahl@racketlon.net.
The results will be released shortly afterwards in a second Facebook live video, with the winner receiving a top-quality, high-performance towel from Victor.
Racketlon’s Quiz – How Does it Work?
Each round will take place every Wednesday for the foreseeable future.
The second quiz, this week on Wednesday 8th April, will take place at the usual time of 18:00BST/19:00CET. While the time may slightly change in future weeks, it will always be on Wednesday and will almost always be around this time.
It will feature some racketlon questions but will also have plenty of questions about other sports and topics. As with all quizzes, we encourage players not to look up the answers.
Racketlon Quiz – What are the Rules?
So what are the rules of our racketlon quiz and how is it going to work?
Each week, the quiz host will read out several questions in a handful of rounds.
You will write down your answers to the questions and then submit them by email to our scorer, Duncan Stahl at duncan.stahl@racketlon.net. You will have 10 minutes from the final question being read out until the entry closes.
There will also be two ways to win bonus points each week.
Firstly, the first three people to submit their answers will all receive bonus points. The first person to submit will receive five bonus points, the second to submit will receive three bonus points, and the third will receive one bonus point.
Secondly, the host of the quiz on Facebook will also reveal one or two bonus questions during the Livestream. The first viewer to comment with the correct answer in the video comments will receive some bonus points.
The winner of each weekly quiz will receive a top-quality, high-performance Victor towel.
However, to reward players who take part each week, there will also be a large prize for the overall winner once it comes to an end in the future.
So want to test your knowledge and win some prizes? Tune into the third round of Racketlon’s Weekly Quiz on Facebook on Wednesday 8th April at 18:00BST/19:00CET to get involved!
Good luck!
