Wildcard for Christoph Krenn at Murau Open

Austrias must successful Racketlon player Christoph Krenn will give a Comeback at the 3. International Challenger Murau Open this weekend (25.-26.10.). Tournament director Michael Wölfl persuaded the Padel-Professional and issued him a wildcard. “It is a one time start and not a real comeback”, says Krenn who was part of the first edition of the tournament in 2016. A total of 33 players will battle in four draws for the titles in Styria. All draws and the time schedule are now online on fir.tournamentsoftware.com

Seehofer and Windischberger only winners

Krenn will have nothing to do with the men elite title, although he has chances to win his first round versus the other wildcard players Matija Mikac. Topseeded Lukas Windischberger will be hard to beat, even though the two other Austrian national team players Emanuel Schöpf and Stephan Schmutzer might give him a hard time.

In the women elite draw Christine Seehofer will be impossible to beat. The world number one has one all editions of Murau Open so far as did Windischberger. The highlight is the “Bockbier-Anstich” and Party after the prize winning ceremony on Saturday evening. Enter for 12. Austrian Open – World Tour Finals until 12. November

For all international players who could not make it to Murau, another reminder that the final entry deadline for the 12. Austrian Open – World Tour Finals (23.-25.11.) is Monday the 12th November. Doubles start Friday 9 a.m., Singles Friday late afternoon. On Sunday only the finals maybe semifinals are played.
