The FIR Race is heating up!

We only have two tournaments left for players to qualify for the FIR Race, and some players are looking to secure their spot in Switzerland this weekend at the SWT Austrian Open. With good results this weekend Sylvain can secure his position at the top of the FIR Race. He’s currently 900 points ahead of Joerg Kanonenberg who is not playing the SWT Austrian Open.

Other players who are currently in the top 8 and are competing in Austria are Mouchet, Lenggenhager, and Kurek. Matt Davidson will be looking to get himself in the top 8, sitting at 9, as well as Bastian Böhm and other players. Because it’s an SWT there are a lot of points up for grabs and a lot can change after this weekend.

On the women’s side, Pauline Cavé will also be looking to secure her position within the top 8. She is currently behind Jacobsen, Ahlmer and Kaptein who have all secured their spot in Switzerland, and is 600 points ahead of Chan. Both Chan and Cave are set to play the SWT Indian Open. Meanwhile, Clarissa Steiner and Sandra Ettenauer will try to edge in the top 8 taking advantage of the SWT on home soil, sitting at 9 and 10 at the moment. Virág Sákovics and Alina Reissenauer will also look to climb the rankings with some good results lately.

We can’t wait for an exciting weekend of Racketlon and will keep you updated with the FIR Race standings!
