The men’s semi-finals are decided after a few entertaining quarter-final matches. Defending Champ Luke Griffiths is safely through to the semi-finals after he beat Damien Andre +28 (21-19 21-12 21-4). He now takes on Jesper Ratzer after Ratzer beat Michal Kurek by +19 (20-22 21-2 21-19).
This is the first time they played since their World Championships semi-final back in 2021 which Jesper Ratzer won +27 (21-14 21-14 21-8). It is safe to say that this will be match of the day and we can’t wait!
Joerg Kanonenberg finds himself in his first men’s elite semi-final after defeating fellow countryman Christian Wiessner +22 (21-13 21-14 21-14). He now faces Sylvain Ternon who battled past Kresten Hougaard to secure his spot in the semi-final. The overall score was +17 (11-21 21-4 21-19 13-5).
The men’s semi-finals kick off at 1PM tomorrow.
