After good results in Thailand, Hong Kong, and Australia, Hong Kong duo Chan and Ng lead the way for the FIR Race rankings in March. A great start for both as they have showed some strong performances. It’s still early on in the season, so we can expect a lot of other names being added to the rankings.
In the men’s standings Mandrin Mouchet has moved up to the second place, overtaking Thailand Open Champion Mohammed Tarik Koubaa. Finnish Open Champion René Lindberg comes in at place 5, just below Australian no 1 Leigh Sands. Bryan Leung and Jesse Kiljunen are on even points taking up the last two qualification. Joyce Chan and world no 1 Anna-Klara Ahlmer take the top two spots in the women’s standings followed by Kaisu Anttila and Stephanie Chung. Australian Open Champion Amke Fischer comes in at 5 along with Fabienne Dony and Wan Yin Lui. Heli Makela and Nienke Veldkamp share the 8th position.
We’ve got the IWT Polish Open coming up this month, with more players starting off their 2024 season and it will be exciting to see how the FIR Race will unfold.
