A new initiative to start the 2023 season will see the FIR launch FIR Zoom Sessions. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our first FIR Zoom Session about player experience at world tour tournaments. The sessions are a new initiative to share ideas and listen to the players about what’s important and how they experience playing on the Racketlon tour. The meeting will be hosted by Duncan Stahl (FIR president), Jack Bishop (FIR tournament delegate) and FIR player representatives Anna-Klara Alhmer and Myriam Enmer. Following this new idea, Duncan (FIR President) said:
“We’re looking forward to having a really constructive, positive meeting where we can listen to and share all sorts of different ideas about what makes a great world tour tournament. We hope to hear from lots of different players from different countries who all play at different levels of the sport. This feedback from players is vital to help us keep innovating and improving how we stage our world tour tournaments so I hope as many players as possible are able to join the online meeting and I look forward to seeing you then”.
During the meeting we will discuss the following topics:
- Hear what is important to players and what makes a great World Tour tournament.
- Hear some planned changes to tournaments by the FIR in 2023
- Explore what further positive changes can be made to the player experience at tournaments.
The meeting is open to any player that plays on the Racketlon tour! We encourage people to join in so we can listen and create an even better Racketlon experience together. The zoom link will also be posted on the day of the event on all our social media channels. Where: Zoom
