We are delighted that three 2023 Racketlon World Tour tournaments are now open for entry.
The IWT RSL Finnish Open, IWT Nordic Racket Games and IWT Swiss Open are all now live for all Racketlon players to enter. The RSL Finnish Open is the next tournament on the Racketlon World Tour in February.
The Nordic Racket Games and Swiss Open are taking place later in the year, with the former in early May and the latter in late June.
Here’s a little bit of information about each tournament, with further tournament information coming in the future.
IWT RSL Finnish Open
The first International World Tour of the season will see the Racketlon World Tour return to Finland. We’ve not travelled to Helsinki since 2019 so we’re delighted to see the tournament return for the first time after the pandemic.
The tournament returns to Smash Center in Helsinki, the superb venue that has hosted previous Finnish Opens. It will be held from February 15 to 17 and is a fantastic opportunity for players to kick-start their season early.
With a month to go until player entry opens, we’ve already got nearly 40 players registered to compete. We expect that number expected to increase over the coming weeks. Alongside a whole host of Finnish players, some of racketlon’s finest have already registered. World No.1 Morten Jaksland and former World Champion Stine Jacobsen are both heading to Helsinki. Elsewhere, Amateur Player of the Year Lucas Steyer is also competing, as is Thailand Open Challenger runner-up Mandrin Mouchet.

IWT Nordic Racket Games
Speaking of tournaments making a comeback, we next come to the IWT Nordic Racket Games. Denmark last hosted a Racketlon World Tour event in 2016, the World Doubles Championships. We’re truly delighted that, after seven long years, we’re back on Danish soil.
One of the reasons that we’re so pleased is that we’re competing in a brand new facility, Holbæk Sportsby. Voted the Danish Sports Construction of the Year in 2020, the beautiful venue has the capacity to hold four courts, all alongside each other. Another awesome feature, especially for the Racketlon World Tour, is that there is accommodation at the Sports Venue. If you love being able to roll out of bed and get straight on court, this is definitely a tournament for you to enter.
The tournament itself takes place from May 5 to 7. The tournament is also able to offer free transport from Copenhagen Airport to the venue in Holbaek. It may not be a new tournament on the Racketlon World Tour, but after seven years away and with a beautiful new venue, this certainly has all the excitement of a new tournament.

IWT Swiss Open
A new era for the Swiss Open begins in 2023 as the tournament relocates from the now-demolished Vitis Sportcentre to Sihlsports.
Those of you who competed in the 2021 Racketlon World Singles Championships will know that Sihlsports is not a new venue on the Racketlon World Tour. It made its debut by rescuing the World Singles Championships that year, doing so in spectacular fashion.
The tournament returns to its typical place at the end of June, being held this year from June 23 to 25. Given the wealth of experience that Tournament Director Esther Dübendorfer and her team have, we know this will be one of the slickest and most popular events on the 2023 Racketlon World Tour.

As always, anybody can enter any of our tournaments. We have a number of different age and ability categories so that everyone can compete on the Racketlon World Tour.
