What to Watch on Day Seven? | Racketlon World Championships

We’re reaching the business end of the Racketlon World Championships now, with just three full days of competition still to go.

Friday, August 26 looks like it’s going to be one of the most special days of the tournament so far, as we have three finals for taking place throughout the day.

What to Watch on Day Seven?

The day will kick off with the Nations Cup and Challenge Cup Teams finals early on Friday morning. At 09:30CET, Great Britain II and India will square off for the Nations Cup crown. At 10:15CET, the USA and Hong Kong will step onto court to compete for the Challenge Cup title.

Then, at 14:00CET we have the Women’s Doubles final. This will see top seeds Anna-Klara Ahlmer and Myriam Enmer take on defending champions Stine Jacobsen and Zuzana Severinová.

The fun doesn’t stop there. At 18:30 we have the Mixed Elite Doubles final. This will see unseeded powerhouses Morten Jaksland and Nathalie Vogel take on Zuzana Severinová and Leon Griffiths in a mouthwatering final.

Last will be the World Cup Final. Austria seeks glory on home soil, while Germany is chasing redemption after losing the final three years ago. Austria will take on Germany for the World Cup Final at 22:00CET.

In amongst all of this Doubles and Teams action, the World Singles Championships begin from midday. This will see all categories begin their matches, as the tournament prepares for a full weekend of singles.
