With 12 weeks until the FIR Racketlon World Championships 2022, we’re delighted that all travel restrictions for incoming passengers to Austria have been removed.
Neither vaccination proof nor a negative PCR Test is currently necessary when travelling to Austria.
The FIR Racketlon World Championships 2022 takes place in Vienna and Graz in August. This latest news about international travel is fantastic in making sure that the tournament is open to all players.
Hong Kong Become the Latest Nation to enter the FIR Racketlon World Championships 2022
For the FIR Racketlon Juniors & Seniors World Championships 2022 from August 19 to 22 in Vienna, we already have teams entered from the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Sweden and Switzerland.
For the elite and amateur event in Graz from August 24 to 28, we have those countries, as well as entries from Hungary and the USA. The removal of travel restrictions has allowed players from Hong Kong to become the latest nation to enter.
“After the fallen restrictions, we now hope for a further boost in players”, says RFA / ERU President Marcel Weigl. Which covid regulations will then count at the tournament itself, shall be determined at the beginning of August. This decision shall be made together with the official tournament doctor Manuel Gartner.
Enter Before June 1 for Reduced Prices
Entries until May 31 will save you €10 on your singles player entry, as well as €5 per person, per night, in all official tournament hotels. These include the Palace Hostel and Boutique Stadthalle in Vienna, and the Hotel Ambio and Austria Trend Hotel Europa in Graz.
All entries for the FIR Racketlon World Championships 2022 and hotel bookings can only be made via the official registration platform ON YOUR MARKS.
