We are delighted to announce that entry is now open for the Racketlon World Team Championships to be held in Austria in August.
Racketlon’s most-popular tournament makes its long-awaited return having last taken place in Leipzig back in 2019.
Entry to the Racketlon World Team Championships can be completed on the European Racketlon Union website. Further information about the tournament, including a special discount for some elite and junior players, is available below as Technical Director Marcel Weigl invites the world to Austria for the World Team Championships.
Invitation FIR Racketlon World Championships 2022 Elite & Junior Teams 2 nights hotel costs
Dear fellow Presidents,
As you have hopefully realized the preparations for the FIR World Championships 2022 are running on full power, as the event will 100% take place this year. After missing two years of Team World Championships due to the Covid19-crises in 2020 and 2021, the team events are finally back and will be held in Austria this year:
FIR World Championships 2022 Juniors & Seniors in Vienna
Friday 19. – Monday 22. August, with team events held Friday 19./Saturday 20.
FIR World Championships Elite & Amateurs in Graz
Wednesday 24. – Sunday 28. August with team events held Thursday 25./Friday 26.
This year’s World Championships shall be the greatest Racketlon event, with the biggest budget ever held! Thus, it is a pleasure for the Racketlon Federation Austria (RFA) to invite the 8 Elite Teams I qualified for the World Cup as well as one Junior Team (u16, u18 or u21) per participating country to be our guests for the duration of the team events. RFA will cover hotel costs for the maximum team members for two nights in a double room of our tournament hotels per team. You will be notified about the exact procedure later.

Entry Deadlines
The application for the team events (players can be entered until the entry deadline 1st August) needs to be done centrally and before March 31 in order to get hotel costs covered via our information website. More information is available here: https://www.racketloneurope.com/worldchamps-2022/
