Over the last few months, the FIR has been working hard on a project to bring Racketlon to Dubai. After a difficult 18 months of COVID-19 uncertainty, we now have a hugely exciting opportunity to launch a brand-new Super World Tour tournament this November in Dubai, alongside our partners the Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Tourism.
Taking place on November 4-6, the SWT Dubai Racketlon Classic represents one of the most exciting new tournament announcements for many years!

“Bringing a new, prestigious SWT tournament to Dubai opens up so many fantastic, long-term possibilities for Racketlon. The playing facilities, climate, location for both European and Asian based players, standard of player’s hotels and general event infrastructure in Dubai are amazing…and we have a long-term goal (starting in 2022) to potentially stage a “World Tour Finals” in Dubai at the end of every season.
But in 2021 and in recognition of the efforts and belief that the Dubai Sports Council & Dubai Tourism have in Racketlon, it is vital that we now take this chance presented to us to stage a unique SWT this November – staging this tournament this year will help solidify Dubai as a long-term destination for a prestigious annual tournament. It is an opportunity we have to take!”
No Entry Fees, Discounted Hotels & an Amazing Location
As the Dubai Racketlon Classic is only 6 weeks away, the tournament has confirmed many exciting incentives to attract players:
- No entry fees for the tournament for all players
- Big discount on hotels (approx. EUR40 per person per night in a 4* or 5* hotel)
- A very special Player’s Dinner on Saturday night
- First-class playing facilities in some amazing venues
- Free shuttle service between airport & hotel for all players (airport only 10 mins away)
Tournament Venues
The tournament will be played across two outstanding venues in the Al Jadaf area of Dubai: Al Wasl Sports Club & Dubai Municipality Club.
How & Where to Enter the SWT Dubai Racketlon Classic
Categories will be limited to the following:
- Singles: Men’s & Women’s Elite, Men’s B, Women’s B and Seniors 45+
- Doubles: Men’s Doubles A & B, Mixed and Seniors 45+
Players will be allowed to enter a maximum of 1x singles category and 1x doubles category
The maximum capacity for the whole tournament will be approximately 40 players, so all those who are interested in playing in the first-ever SWT Dubai Racketlon Classic will need to enter as soon as the online entry is opened at 18.00 CET Friday September 24.
