The FIR is excited to announce the launch of a brand new Challenger tournament: CHA Romanian Open in Bucharest. The tournament is taking place on the 11th and 12th of September 2021.
Organised locally by the Asociatia Club Sportiv Racketlon, the main venue is the impressive AeroSquash complex which includes an all-glass squash centre court, 3x badminton courts and Table Tennis, with the Tennis played at a nearby local club. Shuttles from the airport will be provided for all players and there are several good hotels all within walking distance of the venue.
It’s a great chance for all players to get back out on the World Tour and to support a returning tournament at a fantastic venue and in a beautiful city. Have a look through all the tournament information below and entry is now open!
Provisional Schedule
Saturday 11th Sept:
09:00-16:00 All doubles
12:00-18:00 Age classes to final
18:00-22:00 A/B singles 1st round
Sunday 12th Sept:
09:00-14:00 A/B singles, age class finals
COVID-19
The tournament, in conjunction with the FIR, will implement a COVID-19 plan that is in line with all local health guidelines as well as with basic FIR measures.

EUR 50: singles, EUR 35 for second singles
EUR 20: doubles (per player)
