The online entry for the Luxembourg Open has temporarily been closed to give everyone the same chance of registering.
Please note that due to the size of the venue, the tournament has a limit of 60 players. Each player is able to participate in one singles and one doubles category (regular or mixed).
Similar to last year’s CHA London Open, all players registering after the limit of 60 players will be put on a waiting list, but the draws will be filled up to make the best possible numbers after that. If there are any available spots after reaching the limit, they will be announced and applications for those can happen via e-mail.
19 spots have already been secured by early bird entries. That leaves 41 spots in the tournament available when entry reopens on Sunday.
Therefore, if you want to make sure to get your spot in the new Challenger in Luxembourg, enter as soon as possible when we re-open for registrations on Sunday, December 8 at 8:00amCET. No registrations on e-mail or through other channels will be accepted until then.
The Luxembourg Open Challenger
The Luxembourg Open Challenger is the first time an international racketlon tournament has taken place in Luxembourg. It is taking place on February 22-23 2020. The Kockelscheuer Sport Center is situated in a park area close to Luxembourg City nearby to the city’s main tourist sites.
The venue has a rich racket sports history, annually hosting the WTA Luxembourg Open which has been won by the likes of Victoria Azarenka, Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki in the last 10 years.
Bordering France, Germany and Belgium, Luxembourg is a prime location for an international racketlon tournament. Boasting an airport with flights from across Europe and direct trains from Paris and Brussels, the tournament is easily accessible for all players.
Always popular among the racket sports community, the venue also has two padel courts.
More information about the Kockelscheuer Sport Centre is available here.
Want to enter the CHA Luxembourg Open? Entry is available here from 08:00 AM CET on Sunday, December 8th. Make sure you enter as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
