Thanks to Dr Petra Bohuslav, the politician for Economic Affairs, Tourism, Technology and Sports in Lower Austria, and the Mayor of Lower Austria, Herbert Janschka, the 13th Austrian Open presented by GRAWE sidebyside will return to Wr. Neudorf.
This year, the tournament will take place from Friday 30th August to Sunday 1st of September.
The tournament is one of just two Super World Tour events on the FIR World Tour 2019, making it a particularly special event. It boasts a centre-court arena including official referees and four other courts available at the Franz-Fürst Freizeitzentrum.

Following the positive experience with the new time schedule at the last two international tournaments in Vienna, doubles will only be played on Friday. Only men’s singles will begin on Friday evening. All other singles begin on Saturday with finals and last round matches being played on Sunday.
The official tournament hotel, Phoenix7, is within walking distance and offers sensational prices starting at €45 per person per night. This includes breakfast in a double room and an airport shuttle service. In addition, the players dinner and a high-quality sponsor T-Shirt are part of the players package.
The 2018 Austrian Open was won by Arnaud Genin and Christine Seehofer.
