Seehofer leads annual ladies’ ranking, Bugl follows by chance
The season’s best female and male players are going to be honored at the season final of the Racketlon World Tour. Already unbeatable in the lead is Christine Seehofer, the first of the ladies’ world ranking and reigning World- and European Champion. She has already won the World Tour Race. Followed by Natalie Paul from Germany and Bettina Bugl from Austria who are both not on the entry list for the Super World Tour 12. Austrian Open – World Tour Finals presented by GRAWE sidebyside. Fourth placed Anna-Klara Ahlmer will play in Vienna and has the chance to pass both.
Windischberger needs to reach quarter-final
The number one of the men’s world ranking, Lukas Windischberger, is second in the race behind the second of the world ranking, Morten Jaksland from Denmark: 705 points separate the two players. Jaksland will not appear at the Super World Tour Austrian Open – World Tour Finals presented by GRAWE sidebyside. Windischberger’s participation in the quarter-final will be sufficient to win the World Tour Race 2018. Windischberger could also defend his ranking as world’s best player by competing in the quarter-final in Vienna. The world ranking is based on the best 12 tournaments of the past 2 years. “I hope that Windischberger can take home the title”, says Marcel Weigl, Tournament Director and Executive President of the Racketlon Federation Austria.
