The best courts in Racketlon history
The preparations for the European Championships from 25. August to 3. September are ongoing. The centrecourt arenas have been sketched and the organisation team can guarantee highest international standards for the courts. Such courts were never seen before at an international Racketlon event! The highlights are a brand new Squash-Glasscourt (PSA-approved) and a Tennis Hardcourt with ATP surface! In Wr. Neudorf matches will be played on five courts parallel, in Vienna on six – and all courts will secure perfect conditions.
Brand new tables and Champions League floor
The Austrian Table Tennis Federation (ÖTTV) and DONIC will supply eight brand new DONIC Delhi tables, which will be used for the Austrian Open in Table Tennis after the EURO. In addition a red Champions League floor and box will be used for the centrecourt arenas.
PSA-Squash-Glasscourt and ATP-Tennis-Hardcourt in Vienna
For the Badminton centrecourt in Vienna a new one-piece Badminton Bundesliga mat in green will be rolled out. The brand new Squash centrecourt of the brand Courtwall in City & Country Club will have the best playing and sight conditions ever seen in Racketlon. Matches will be played with white balls only, like on the PSA-World Tour. In addition two side courts will be completely renovated with new back walls, including the change to LED lights for better sight. Also the Tennis centrecourt could not be better. The ATP hardcourt was only prepared with two additional surfaces a few weeks ago in order to create perfect practice conditions for the Austrian famous Tennis brothers Jürgen and Gerald Melzer.
