In the Men’s A, Griffiths and Kanonenberg both reached the final, as Griffiths beat Castel by +7 in his Semi-final, whilst Kanonenberg won his by +23 against Gergely. The final between Griffiths and Kanonenberg proved to be a brilliant one, with both players winning two sports each, before Griffiths eventually claimed the title, 16-12 in tennis. In the third fourth play off Gergely played a strong game of table tennis, to get himself off to a winning start, before eventually claiming a +16 victory to finish in third.
Cavé and Mansour both won their semi-finals against Altmann and Kilchenmann in the Women’s A, to set up a repeat of the box match in the final. The match went all the way to tennis, with some strong performances from both players across all four sports, before Cavé reached the 11 she needed in tennis to take the title. This meant she won all three titles available to her this weekend. In the third fourth play off, Altmann won third place with a +21 victory over Kilchenmann.
The number one seed In the Men’s B, Port, won the title with a +24-point victory over Nussbächer, after a strong performance in both the badminton and squash, meaning that no tennis was needed. Whilst in the third/fourth play off Schupp beat Vaclahovsky to take the final spot on the podium, with a +8-point win.
Heimburg pulled off two big wins in the semi-final and final of the Women’s B to secure the title, winning both by more than 30 points. While in the third fourth play off, the fight for the bronze medal went right down to the wire, with Altmann eventually claiming the win by just a +3 margin.
In the Men’s C, Romeo beat his brother Robin in the semi-final to earn his place in the final, whilst Sela gained his place with a +3-point win over Haushalter. In the final, Romeo took the title after table tennis, as Sela was forced to retire. In the third fourth playoff, Robin came through a tough match against Haushalter to win bronze with a +11 victory.
Marthelot took the men’s first timers title with a +22-point victory over Munker in the final, and Gräml claimed third with a +19-point victory over Kotala. In the women’s first timer’s category each competitor won one match each leading to a three-way split, meaning that a gummy arm was required to decide the winner. Even the gummy arm was close, but in the end there could only be one winner, and this was Vaclahovsky who won the gummy arm with 5 points, to Sontag’s 4 points and Schorer’s 3.
In the U21’s category, Leon Sam claimed the title, with a win over RadI and a retirement from Kotala. Kotala took second place and RadI finished in third.
The senior +40’s title went to the second seed Sopko, who beat Port by +23-points in the final, to claim victory, whilst Ulmo claimed a +26-point victory over Börner to take the third spot on the podium. In the Women’s +40’s category, Heimburg took the title with two wins over Königsmarková and Stegmann, whilst Königsmarková went on to beat Stegmann to claim second.
