Only a few more days to enter the IWT Racket Masters Augsburg! The tournament will be Augsut 23-25.
After the first international tournament in the southern Germany city being a Challenger, the Racket Masters Augsburg 2024 comes back as an IWT and offers a total of 2000EUR prize money which will be split 70/30 between singles and doubles! An exciting new feature this year is that the tennis will be played on clay courts and there will be a special players party taking place on the “Plärrer” the Augsburg version of the famous Oktoberfest in Munich.
Augsburg is a beautiful city located in Bavaria in the south of Germany. The nearest airport is Munich which is an hour’s drive from Augsburg. The venue has great facilities inlcuding 10 badminton courts, 5 squash courts and 5 outdoor clay courts. 4 indoor tennis courts are also available if the weather is letting us down. Also players are welcome to try their minigolf skills right onsite!
You are also very welcome to join the players party, taking place on Sunday evening on the “Plärrer” where you can look forward to 1 liter cups of beer, typical bavarian food and music just like people from all over the world enjoy at Oktoberfest in Munich. Definitely worth planning your travels back home on Monday! As a special feature of the tournament, no entry fee will be charged for top ranked Elite players.
