We’re getting ready to go in 2024 with the Thailand Open Challenger as the first tournament of the new season. Mandrin Mouchet is the top seed for this event and will look to do one better this year after making the final in 2023. He is in group A with tournament organiser Frank Kleiber and Kevin Ng, who won the IWT London Open men’s B. Group B is headed by Mohammed Tarik Koubaa, as he faces Christian Börner and Tsz Chung Chan. The men’s elite matches will start on Saturday.
The men’s elite doubles are kicking off on Friday, with top seeds Kleiber/Ng taking on Motasha/Patel. On the other side of the draw, Koubaa/Nielsen will take on second seeds Li/Ng for a place in the final.

Ray Ryan is top seed for the men’s B and will take on Motasha and Soubeyrand in group A. Adrian Ng is heading goup B and has to battle past Samuel Li and Adit Patel for a place in the final. Meanwhile, Mohammed Tarik Koubaa is looking to add another +40 title to his collection, Gourav Rakshit is top seed in the senior +50 and he is in good form, winning the +45 category at the Bombay Gymkhana International Racketlon Open and the +40 Thailand Open last year. 2023 Thailand Open +55 runner-up Per Franklin Nielsen will try to do one better in the +60 this year, the same for home favourite Nattawee Sucandharuna who finished runner-up in the +45.
