We are very excited to welcome a new IWT event to the calendar: The Nordic Racket Games.
The tournament will take place from May 5-7, in Holbaek Denmark. The Nordic Racket Games had a previous edition, a Challenger event in 2018. This year’s Nordic Racket Games will be held in what was voted the Danish Sports Construction of the year in 2020, Holbaek Sportsby. The tournament organisers have made an excellent deal for hotel rooms at the club, free transport from the airport to the venue, and free access to the best nightclub in Holbaek!
Venue – Holbaek Sportsby
The multipurpose sports centre is an ideal place to hold a Racketlon tournament. They have eight badminton courts that meet the latest requirements to hold international badminton events. There are four indoor (hardcourt) and nine outdoor (clay) tennis courts, four squash courts and there is room for four table tennis courts in the table tennis hall. There is also a swimming pool and a gym.

The first 30 people who would like to stay at the venue can book a room for 4 people. The rooms will be 47,- EUR per room per night. There is an additional charge for cleaning of only 34,- EUR and linen/towels for 17,- EUR per person. Reservations can be made by emailing sportel@holbaeksportsby using Racketlon in the email. There are nine 4-person rooms available so it’s first come first serve. At the moment, there are only seven rooms left. Breakfast is not included but this will be available in the cafe inside the venue.

Free transportation from the airport to the club

Player Dinner
There will be a player dinner on Saturday, where afterward people can access the best nightclub in Holbaek for free. SOHO is within walking distance from hotel Strandparken and hotel Sidesporet. Access to the nightclub is free, and more information can be found here.
