Massachusetts Racket Masters Returns in April 2020

The CHA Massachusetts Racket Masters is back as an FIR Challenger for the 4th time.

The tournament, held at Smith College, Northampton, Massachusetts, is the only FIR sanctioned racketlon event currently held in North America.

This unique tournament offers the chance for North America’s finest racketlon players to put their talents against some of the best from Europe.

Canadian No.2 Jeremy Easterbrook has already signed up to compete, with a host of other players expected to join him in the coming weeks. Former U21 world champion Patrick Laplante, is the defending champion of the Men’s Singles tournament, with Katrin Maldre is the two-time defending champion in the Women’s Singles.

There will be prize money for the champions of the elite classes.

“It probably has the most interested tennis courts I’ve ever seen”

After winning the tournament in 2018, World No.3, Dan Busby spoke about the tournament. “As the only tour event in North America, the tournament is well worth playing. Northampton is a lovely town and Smith College is a good venue.

“It probably has the most interesting tennis courts I’ve ever played on as the indoor courts are in the centre of a running track.
