Historic Racketlon Venue Hosts 2019 IWT Swedish Open

It’s a historic 2019 IWT Swedish Open as the FIR World Tour returns to the spectacular Enskede Rackethall.

The venue makes its return for the first time since hosting the 2012 World Championships, one of the most popular tournaments in racketlon history.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to return to this venue, with entry closing on Monday, September 30th at 11:59CET.

FIR World Tour Returns to Enskede Rackethall

It’s been seven years since the FIR World Tour last visited the Enskede Rackethall. The tournament then is still regarded as one of the most popular in racketlon history and we are delighted to be returning to this prestigious venue.

The venue is in the Swedish capital Stockholm and takes place from the 11th to 13th October.

As with all FIR World Tour events, the doubles will take place on Friday with the singles occurring throughout the weekend. Some of the lower classes – C-E – may begin on Friday evening.

As well as fantastic racketlon facilities, the venue also hosts a restaurant, shop and string service.

You can find more information about Enskede Rackethall here.

Travel and Accommodation

There are three possible airports that you can fly to if you want to take part in the tournament. The biggest one is Arlanda and there is also Bromma and Skavsta.

Information about the IWT Swedish Open tournament hotels is available here.

The tournament also offers a shuttle service from the tournament hotels to the venue and from the venue to the airport on Sunday.
