The Racketlon World Tour returns to Nussloch for the 2019 IWT German Open.
In 2018 the venue hosted both the World Doubles Championships and the closing leg of the Racketlon Champions League.
This year Nussloch will host the first leg of the 2019 Racketlon Champions League alongside the IWT German Open.
The Champions League will take place on Friday 2nd August along with the IWT German Open doubles classes. The German Open singles categories will begin on Saturday 3rd August with the finals taking place on Sunday 4th.
World No.1’s Lukas Windischberger and Christine Seehofer are the defending German Open champions while the Berlin Berghain Boasters currently hold the Champions League crown.
Sandra Hald who works as the Nussloch Racketcenter said, “Join this year’s German Open in Nussloch near Heidelberg.
“Enjoy the summer in our freshly renovated multi-functional centre. Experience Italian food in the restaurant, cool down in the small pool and be part of the traditional Beer Pong party.
“Our in-house physiotherapy allows massages and taping during the tournament while we are excited that on Friday the Champions League teams will also compete in their first matches this year.”
