The wait is finally over as the international racketlon tour is coming to Hong Kong. Hong Kong Racketlon has been trying to host a tournament for several years now, and the moment is finally there. The level of Racketlon in Hong Kong has been steadily improving over the last few years, which was clear at this year’s World Championships with Hong Kong winning the Nations and Challenge cups.
The 2024 Hong Kong Challenger will be held from February 16-18 and entries will open on November 18th. The tournament will be played at the Craigengower Cricket Club, with three table tennis tables, two badminton courts, two squash courts and three tennis courts (hard surface/grass surface).

There is some additional information for players who wish to play this new tournament:
- All players can enter a maximum of two doubles categories. (eg Men’s doubles and mixed doubles)
- A player can participate in a total of three categories at most. Either two singles and one doubles or one singles and two doubles.
- Last-minute Entry: Entries of all categories received after 8/1/2024 11:59am (GMT +8) will be subjected to an additional fee of HKD80 per entry.
- Capacity: ~50 (We strongly encourage early registration to secure your place in the tournament).
Racketlon Hong Kong has two suggested hotels on their website. Players can also sign up for the Spotlight Racketlon Team Tournament for a friendly racketlon team competition on Sunday after all formal matches are completed. This is free of charge.
