Entries for 16. SWT Austrian Open Graz – Super World Tour Finals from 22. to 24. September are now open, entries can only be done through on ON YOUR MARKS. Racketlon Federation Austria together with the European Racketlon Union will offer free hospitality for 12 top elite players to the only Super World Tour event on the FIR World Tour this year. The best eight elite men and the best four elite women (FIR world rankings 1.9.) on the entry list will receive a maximum of 480€ (120€ per tournament day and one arrival day) expenses in return as elite players will be paid after the tournament via „Pauschale Reiseaufwandsentschädigung“ bank transfer. „We want to attract the best players to Graz and want to help them cover at least their costs“, says RFA-President Marcel Weigl. Thanks to a number of sponsors such as Holding Graz, Simoner & Scheder, Bauwert, Weblivescore and Racketlonshop and the subsidies from the sports ministry, the county of Styria and the city of Graz, Austrian Open is one of the few world-ranking events not depending on entry fees from players.
Cheapest entry fees on FIR World Tour 2023 with 50% Discount
The entry fees will be the cheapest on the FIR World Tour 2023. With the early bird until the 14th of August players can enter singles for only 35€, which is 50% of the maximum fee of 70€ allowed by FIR. From the 15th of August, the fee is 45€, which is also possible as the Players Dinner Barbecue (Saturday 23.9.) is not obligatory included in the entry fee, but can be booked for only 10€ together with the entry. Vegetarian is also possible. The digital booking platform ON YOUR MARKS makes all bookings including hotel and even the single FIR tournament licence (if still needed) in advance with the one-stop – one shop principle possible. Playing conditions will be world championship like, including a centre court arena with a glass squash court and live stream throughout the weekend. There will also be referees on all match courts, and a shuttle service from the airport, railway station, and tournament hotels.
