Racketlon World Championships Presentation for 100 Journalists

Racketlon Federation Austria and European Racketlon Union President Marcel Weigl and National Team player Georg Stoisser were guests at the conference of Sports Media Austria. It was held for the Association of Austrian Sports Journalists in Salzburg this week.

World Championships Presentation for 100 European Journalists

At a press conference, the FIR Racketlon World Championships 2022, from 19 to 28 August in Vienna and Graz, was presented in front of nearly 100 sports journalists including guests from Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland, Germany and Luxembourg in Salzburg.

With 500 participants from 40 countries, the 10-day event will be the biggest Racketlon tournament in history. There are already over 200 players and 300 entries in the Racketlon World Tour’s most prestigious tournament.

After the presentation, the journalists and their new president, Michael Schuhen, had the opportunity to play racketlon with Weigl and Stoisser. The journalists took on Weigl and Stoisser on a mini table tennis table and mini tennis directly in the assembly room of “Salzburger Nachrichten”.
