Racketlon Legends, Padel Tournament, Players Parties and More at World Championships

The FIR Racketlon World Championships 2022 now has an exciting full schedule of events taking place alongside the tournament.

With at least one event every day, this includes a Peace Team Event of Racketlon Legends, and a Racketlon-Padel Doubles Tournament.

There are also now confirmed to be two Players Parties at the World Championships. One will take place in Vienna on Saturday, August 20. The other will take place a week later in Graz.

Peace Team Event of Racketlon Legends Headlines Packed Schedule

Racketlon Federation Austria and the European Racketlon Union have been working hard to ensure that there is a full schedule of events taking on alongside the FIR Racketlon World Championships 2022.

Every single day, from Friday, August 19 to Sunday, August 28 there is at least one event. The headline event is a “Peace Team Event of Racketlon Legends”, which will see some of Racketlon’s greatest players in history take part in an eight-player team exhibition for the Racketlon world to enjoy.

2009 Men’s Singles World Champion Christoph Krenn is the first player to be announced. The Austrian legend will be taking part in the Peace Team Event of Racketlon Legends, with more names to be announced soon.

Furthermore, there is also a Racketlon-Padel Doubles Tournament for players. This concept proved popular in Rotterdam last year and is returning now on Tuesday, August 23, the rest day between the two events.

Elsewhere there is also a Wheelchair Racketlon event, presentation on a number of projects including “First Serve Refugees”, “Racketlon Street” and much, much more.

Finally, we are delighted that there will be two Players Parties at the FIR Racketlon World Championships 2022. The first will take place in Vienna on Saturday, August 20 with a live concert. The second will be held in Graz on Saturday, August 27.

Friday, August 19 – World Championship Opening and presentation Project “First Serve Refugees”.

Graz

Monday, August 22 – World Squash Tour “Opening Event” of Squash Glass Court.
Tuesday, August 23 – ERU Racketlon-Padel Doubles Tournament.
Wednesday, August 24 – ERU Workshops Racketlon Street, Youth Concept and Sponsoring.
Thursday, August 25 – SRE Sports Recognized presentation of New Sports.
Friday, August 26 – RFA Wheelchair Racketlon Premiere.
Saturday, August 27 – Players Dinner followed by Players Party at the venue.
Sunday, August 28 – FIR Extraordinary General Meeting.
