Racketlon’s New Promotional Logo

  • March 22, 2020

The FIR will be producing a brand new promotional logo which can be printed onto people’s playing shirts to help promote racketlon. We need your help to create it!

When the worldwide racketlon community are training, playing any team matches or league in and any the four sports, we want people to see this logo and want to know more! The biggest potential area of growth for racketlon is to get more and more people who already play table tennis, badminton, squash or tennis to know about racketlon.

We Need You!

So we want your ideas and your designs. Can you design a big badge or logo which includes some text that when people see it across a shirt, they will want to know more about Racketlon?

For example, having “Racketlon Player” written across the back of the shirt will get a lot of people asking what racketlon is.

The design/logo must also include the url www.racketlon.net.

The FIR will choose their favourite three ideas and then put those onto some shirts. We will then ask the worldwide racketlon community to vote on which is their favourite shirt. The FIR will then manufacture the shirt, with everyone able to buy one if they want.

So send us your ideas and or designs to duncan.stahl@racketlon.net before April 5th. One week later, the FIR will announce our three favourite ideas for you to vote a winner from.

If you have any further questions, please email duncan.stahl@racketlon.net.

Best World Champs experience:
Our best team result is, of course, the silver medal we won last year against Team GB. It was an incredible run, beating key nations in racket sports (Germany and Denmark) to reach our country’s first-ever final. 🇫🇷

Best personal result in the World Tour:
I’m bound to mention my first title, won this year in the United States. It was a target for the season after my 2025 season was ruined by injury. I also think back to that first elite podium finish in 2020 at the Austrian Open SWT during the Covid pandemic.

Favourite World Champs memory:
As for my best memories, I’d say the U13 team title won by Lucas Steyer and Axel Diet in 2019 in Germany – I still remember the stress of those final points as a coach. There’s also Myriam Enmer’s first title in 2022 in Graz.

Thing most looking forward to in Rotterdam:
Reuniting with the international and French-speaking community, the team event and the women’s draws, where we’ve got a chance to make our mark this year.

Favourite hobbies outside of racketlon:
Although I spend a lot of time discovering new racket sports as well as new places around the world to play racketlon (my latest find: Bali 🇮🇩❤️). My current hobbies are mainly the MCU🕸️, finding cool places to stay (Insolit Hotel), cooling off during the heatwave (lakes and waterfalls), a bit of piano, and discovering new culinary delights.

Fun fact:
Winning at Skull King whilst only knowing half the rules during our training camp last week with the team.🤌

Thoughts ahead of the tournament:
The dream team isn’t at full strength for this World Cup, and the other teams also have several players missing. We’re hoping to stay on the podium this year and, why not, aim higher than silver in what looks to be a very open competition.

Best World Champs team result:
Winning the title in Graz 2022

Best personal result in the World Tour:
On paper probably the second place at the German Open in Nussloch 2024. But there have been many tournaments with pretty cool matches, mostly in earlier rounds anyway. But for good results we've got better players in our team than me. 😎

Favourite World Champs memory:
Winning the semis and the final at the Team WC 2022 in Graz each by +1 point. Semis was Gummiarm, finals a "regular" +1. Pure focus and pure tension in the middle of the night - matches started at 10pm and lasted until 1:30/2:00am. Crazy schedule but was great fun for us with those results! 🥵

Thing most looking forward to in Rotterdam:
As I'm not playing many tournaments it's simply to see the people and the community again and hopefully have some pretty cool days.

Favourite hobbies outside of racketlon:
It's actually still about racket sports for me. I'm very active as a youth coach in table tennis at our local club and at some parts for the federation.

Thoughts ahead of the tournament:
Let's see what the team category is going to bring us. Our team lineup changed a bit in comparison to the last couple of years. This year we got all the three U21 World-Champs from last year in our lineup which is pretty cool. So we're well prepared and motivated to face some of the teams that are probably more favourites than us this year.
