‘Racketlon has been something that has been on my radar for a number of years and something that I’ve always been keen to have a go at. With retirement I now have that opportunity, not only to compete but to host an event as well. Hallamshire has been my home club for 30 years and a perfect venue for such an event. I’ve heard great things about the Racketlon community and look forward to hosting them in Sheffield. Time to dust off my old Tennis & Badminton rackets!’

Welcome to the first announcement about the CHA Nick Matthew Steel City Open at the Hallamshire Club in Sheffield, UK from 20th – 22nd March
We are expecting this to be a very popular tournament! As with the London Open at the Roehampton Club in August, the capacity for this tournament is expected to be reached very quickly: online entries will officially open at 17.00 (GMT) / 18.00 (CET) on 17th January.
With the capacity of this 2 court tournament to be approximately 70 players, we are likely to reach capacity within a matter of hours after the entries open. So pleased be ready to enter straight away on 17th January : ENTER HERE
