Entry Open for Malta Open, The ‘Victor Racketlon Series’ Finale

Entry for the 5th Malta Open, taking place on the 27th-29th September, is now live.

The tournament will, once again, return to the prestigious Marsa Sports Club.

This year the tournament will also host the third and final leg of the inaugural Victor Racketlon Series.

Why sign up for the Malta Open?

Over the past four years the Malta Open has established itself as one of the greatest all-around tournament experiences.

Not only will the tournament put on a superb on-court programme, but it also boasts a family-friendly off-court programme.

Alongside the tournament, the Malta Open has also hosted BBQ’s, Sightseeing Tours, Boat Trips and a players party.

Malta is a fantastic place to visit with warm weather in September, making it a perfect place to play a tournament and have a holiday at the same time.

Marsa Sports Club

The Sports Centre itself is one of, if not, the most historic on the FIR World Tour.

HiTT Malta will provide the tournament with excellent quality table-tennis tables with the badminton courts in the same venue.

There is a short walk to the squash courts which hosts enough space for 150 spectators. The unique outdoor hard court tennis takes place under the palm trees.

The venue does not just boast spectacular racketlon facilities. Players can also enjoy lounging by the pool, the Royal Malta Golf Club terrace, play a round of golf or watch a game of cricket.

More information about the tournament schedule, accommodation options and extra activities will be available soon.

Victor Racketlon Series

There is another unique element to this year’s Malta Open – the Victor Racketlon Series.

The Victor Racketlon Series is a new addition to the Tour this year and combines the Berlin Open, Latvia Open and, lastly, the Malta Open.

Whichever players accumulate the most points across these three tournaments will win a number of prizes.

The 2018 Malta Open was won by Calum Reid and Zuzana Kubanova as the two veterans made a rare appearance on the World Tour.
