The organization team invites all Racketlon players to the 6th Racketlon Swiss Open from 22th to 24th June 2012 in Zurich.
International Top 4
Like 2011, the Swiss Open will be hold in the international highest tournament status and therefore belongs to the four world wide most important tournaments. Not only the tournament status, but also the number of participants (each year over 200) and the closeness of the top players (3 of the worldwide best 4 and the elite cut off of WR 54 in 2011) characterize this event.
Racketlon newcomers welcome
For the tournament, not only the world elite and the national Racketlon scene are expected. Past events showed that the Swiss Open is also very popular for occasional players and Racketlon newcomers.
Four different strength categories and age categories (under 13, 16, 21 and over 45, 50, 55) help that everybody can play on his level. In addition, categories are separated into men and women.
Difference to 2011
In comparison to the last year the following is different:
- All single categories start on Saturday morning
- New category “over 50”
- Possibility to inscribe for 2 different double categories on Friday.
Accomodation
Also this year we recommend our two tournament hotels Tivoli and Sommerau Ticino with special prices. Both hotels will be served by our shuttle service.
Necessarily book early because the availability is limited.
