FIR GOVERNMENT

The FIR - Federation International de Racketlon is governed by the FIR COUNCIL which is elected by the FIR GENERAL MEETING consisting of the country representatives of all FIR member countries. More information see FIR STATUTES.
 

FIR GENERAL MEETING

The country representatives of the FIR member states come together for an Annual General Meeting at least once a year. The FIR General Meeting presently (1.1.2012) consists of 30 member countries on three continents, see FIR MEMBER COUNTRIES.

FIR COUNCIL

The FIR Council is elected by the FIR General Meeting for a period of 3 years. The present FIR Council is in office from 1.1.2012 until 31.12. 2014.

FIR-EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT

Since 1.1.2009 FIR Council has installed its elected President Marcel Weigl as a part time paid Executive President, who officially opened the FIR Head Office in Austria with regular opening hours Mondays and Thursdays.

FIR AUDITORS

Two auditors are elected by the General Meeting with the task to permanently check and audit the Finances of FIR. The present FIR Auditors are in office from 1st of January 2008 until 31st Dezember 2009.
 

FIR BOARD OF ARBITRATION

To sort out all conflicts and disputes inside and among members of the FIR the General Meeting has installed a Board of Arbitration consisting of three persons. The Board decides with a majority of votes. and its decisions are final within the FIR.
